The 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) was the first SUV designed from its inception as a law enforcement vehicle. It is ideal for standard patrol, HAZMAT, K9, medical first responders and tactical operations. Tahoe Police is an SUV that offers acceleration and braking performance comparable to many police cars. During Michigan State Police’s annual benchmark evaluation of police vehicles (2012 models), the Tahoe turned in the following performance numbers:
